The Origin
What is #DadFury?
Founded in 2018 by cheer dads, this group of distinguished gentlemen were struggling to find their identities when their sons/daughters entered competitive cheer. They started supporting the athletes by coloring their hair pink. It didn't take long, and #DadFury become an international sensation. (Not really, but go with it.)
The mission of the group is to furiously support our sons and daughters... by helping them have as much fun as possible. We hope that we make our cheerleaders smile, laugh, and not be so nervous. We also do it, because we are extremely cool, and we had these outfits in our closets, and needed an excuse to wear them.

Chad the Dad – CEO of Sick Beats and Vuvuzela Management
One of the founding fathers of #DadFury. In his spare time, Chad works as a sales rep for a coffee distribution company, and he owns his own lawn care company. He enjoys camping, cornhole, and being the official DJ of #DadFury. He’s ready, you ready?

Chris – Director of Hype and Chant Coordination
Chris is in medical sales and enjoys boating, camping, coaching football, golfing, and going to gym to get swole. Chris joined to help put smiles on faces for both Westside cheerleaders and other cheerleaders during competitions.

Meet the man, the myth, the Mississippi magic-maker, Snoop! When it is time to get the girls hyped up and ready for the stage, the beat drops and Snoop is the one leading the charge. This dad extraordinaire has got more rhythm in his pinky toe than most have in their whole bodies.

Nugs (AR3) – Director of Geek Life
Andrew (AR3) is one of the newest to wear the mantel of #DadFury (2022). When he is not cheering on cheerleaders he is the VP of Product at a SaaS company (basically VP of geekiness in his DadFury life and regular life).

Signage and Graphic Sales specializing in Athletics. In his free time he coaches softball, works out and teaches his 4 daughters how to boogie! Let’s get this party started cuz “we ready”!

Now for the tech-savvy IND airport Network Engineer. When he's not busy managing complex networks, you'll find him cheering for IU basketball and Colts football or playing the role of the ultimate chauffeur for his five kids' myriad of activities. Among them, his dynamic duo, two-thirds of a triplet set, are acing the cheer game!

New to the cheer community, Bill was asked to join #dadfury. Falling back to his life’s motto “what’s the worst that can happen?”, he soon learned that wearing a leopard print pink romper with matching hot pink tights and a wig is, indeed, the worst that can happen.
Worth it? Definitely! Anything for our Westside girls!!!

Mr. One Take (Jeff)
An Assistant Principal at Plainfield community middle school and also an infantry officer in the Indiana Army National Guard. He enjoys Notre Dame football, camping and traveling with his family. He has three daughters and they are the light of his life. He joined Dadfury to support his daughter Cassidy and have a good time with a good group of guys.

For the last 23 years, Scott has been a physical education teacher and basketball coach. He joined Dad Fury to support his daughter (Sophia) and her teammates as they compete. Nothing is better than being on the sidelines helping hype up the girls before they go out and dominate.

Meet Lonnie, the real estate maestro and renovation wizard, skillfully transforming spaces for over 25 years! Off-duty, he's the ultimate grandad, embarking on joy-filled adventures with his grandkids, creating laughter and cherished memories. He's also Malonnia's biggest fan, cheering her dreams with unmatched zeal. His latest venture? Joining the unstoppable Dad Fury squad! More than just cheering, Lonnie's all about crafting unforgettable experiences with Malonnia and her teammates.

The Sheriff (Kevin)
When he's not busy getting the snake out of his boot, the Sheriff works as a sales leader for a global customer experience software company. He spends his free time in the summer on the lake, at Disney, and cheering on the mighty Avon Marching Black & Gold. In the winter he only comes out of hibernation for important events like supporting Westside Cheer… otherwise he is just waiting for summer to start again. Reach for the sky Amelia, you are my favorite deputy!

🔧 From Grease to Glitter: this is the man who can switch from fixing carburetors to being decked out in all pink, hyping up the Westside cheer squad. His love for IU basketball, Vikings football, Dodger baseball, and a good ol' Budweiser is legendary, but it's his stepdad superpowers that truly shine. If you are lucky, you might even catch a glimpse of Daniel donning the cougar mascot costume!

This marks our inaugural season with the electrifying Westside Cheer! Before his dynamic duo even clinched their spots, they were already rallying for him to join the legendary DadFury. Cheering, supporting, and showering them with love is his superhero duty. When he's not locating bows, he's harnessing the power of volts and amps as an Electrical Engineering Technician at the VA hospital.
